Mind ~ Body ~ Spirit

MIND – Beliefs about ourselves, our relationships, and our environment often shape our expectations and our lived experiences.

Managing transitions and change often brings out old and possibly outdated beliefs that hinder our growth.  What is your narrative? What are the stories you tell yourself? How do you make decisions and choices? Are you living a life true to who you really are? These questions often arise when energy for change has started to build.

By listening attentively, and staying present to both your own and my own here-and-now experience, I will help you explore which beliefs and narratives might be ‘outdated’, and which ones are true to your core self.  What mental ballast might you want to throw overboard, and what are the values and beliefs that ring true for you that you might want to more solidly embrace?

BODY – How do you know what is wrong or right? Where in your body do you experience stress, sadness, pain, or excitement? How comfortable are you in your body?

All our experiences are felt and processed in our physical bodies. Often, we are not aware of the impact certain experiences have on us, unless we experience physical pain or considerable discomfort. Memories, good and bad ones, are processed and at times locked into our nervous systems. Many people, and trauma survivors especially, struggle with the physical remnants of unprocessed memories and stress. With the help of body-oriented and mindfulness based inquiries and exercises, I can help you to start reconnecting  with your body in a safe way. This will help you to access a whole new reservoir of knowing, and make healing possible.

SPIRIT – Do you have a deep longing for connection? Are you dealing with the big questions about aging, partnership, family, and your place in this world? Whether you are settled in a certain faith, or exploring a wider spiritual range, this component of life can often offer another pathway to healing and connection.

I’d be honored to be a partner or sounding board in your own individual and highly personal exploration.
